RFX Pro Series Dual Compound Grips Yellow/Black

Product description
RFX grips are made of high-quality synthetic kraton polymer, offering the vibration dampening and tackiness benefits of natural rubber while resisting the damage caused by sunlight and chemicals found in natural rubber.
RFX grips feature a dual-density design that utilizes a 60 SA compound for increased durability and crash resistance. While the grips feature a soft 25 SA compound center for optimal vibration resistance and comfort.
RFX grips utilize the industry-standard half waffle design with a flat RFX logo on the palm. This diamond-top, waffle-bottom design offers the best combination of palm comfort and low-profile grip for muddy conditions.

Assembly instructions
- Remove the old handles.
- Clean the rod and throttle tube to remove old adhesive with a spray solvent (e.g. Maxima Electrical Contact Cleaner).
- Apply a small amount of RFX grip adhesive to the ends of the throttle tube and rod (don't use too much or the adhesive will seep out and make a mess or, worse, cause improper throttle operation).
- Slide the grip into place on the rod, lifting the lip to prevent air from getting trapped, and rotate it around the rod to help distribute the adhesive evenly.
- Place the handle in the correct position with the RFX logo on the end level with the ground.
- If necessary, apply a safety wire. Wrap the wire evenly around the handle in the two end grooves and also two evenly in the center if necessary.
- Twist the wire together with RFX wire cutters to clamp the handle securely.
- Cut the ends of the wire about 4mm long and bend them into the handle, tapping with a hammer if necessary to secure the wire in place.
- Allow the glue to dry for at least 8 hours before use.
- Before use, check that no glue has entered the throttle valve by checking that the throttle valve returns to its original position.
- Place RFX Donuts if needed to prevent blisters and you're ready to go
Maintenance instructions
- Be careful not to damage the surface of your bars when mounting them by not using sharp objects or tools to clean them.
- Wash with a sponge and soapy water and rinse with a hose or pressure washer.
- Do not direct the water jet at the sealing lip to avoid loosening the handle.
- After washing, avoid spraying chemicals such as contact cleaner on the handles, as these may damage the material.
- Check that the grips are not torn after a crash, as this can allow dirt to enter the throttle valve.
